This didn't even have enough to be considered a novella. The relationship between the Abbott men was never explained. This book was lacking...everything.

Club Abbott Pretend You're Mine Club Abbott Series #1 edition by Hazel Kelly Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

This book (?) Is well written, but when an author calls several chapters an unfinished book I give a lower rating. The story is good but leaves the reader wondering. I won't be buying any more of this series.
captivating...I read the series in one go...you were always wondering were the next book was going to take you...thanks for a wonderful journey! Thanks for also making it available through Unlimited!
I'm not a big fan of sequels. I enjoyed the characters. The relationship between father and son is interesting. The main characters Ben and Carrie are just starting their business association. I will read the next sequel to see the direction it takes.
Just like the great stories leading up to the New Abbott stories. It is very good. I'm glad that these are in a way a continuation of them. So far this was good, and I am sure that the rest will be just as good as the first. Thanks for the great stories!
Great but it was only a teaser. You left it unfinished! I don't like to believe Hazel Kelly is incapable of pulling all of
loose ends together there, by completing this father/son drama; the opening of the club, and beginning of Carrie's design
business oh and don't forget the budding attraction between Ben and Carrie. WHY!
I really liked this start of the series Club Abbot. I love the way I can feel the attraction between Ben and Carrie right off.
I like the way MS Kelly has each character describe what they feel and what they are thinking in their mind. This shows that they are liking or not the other persons.
I really hated what happened between Carrie and Simon but she did ok. I thought she was going to take him back but was glad MS Kelly chose to go the other way with this book.
I have read a few of her books and everytime she does not disappoint me.
I will say you will not regret reading this book
I received this book for an honest and fair review.
Spoiler Ahead This was a pretty good book. Carrie Callihan has taken the plung and started her own designer business thanks to a little push from her fiancé Simon. Getting her business in to the public eye, organize a wedding and move into her new office has left little time with Simon. She has a surprise for Simon when he comes home, a reservation to a very expensive restaurant. Hurrying to get home before he does to surprise him only but instead she gets a surprise him in bed with another woman. Ben Abbott has not been close to his father and their relationship is strained. After their divorce Ben went to live with his mother in London. Now Ben is back in New York learning the family hotel business but is not very comfortable with it. He buys the building for Club Abbott and goes in search of a designer so when he sees Carrie's ad he calls her. When Ben looks into her eyes for the first time he can't help but see the hurt and pain. This was a pretty good read that I liked a lot. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
This didn't even have enough to be considered a novella. The relationship between the Abbott men was never explained. This book was lacking...everything.
